Create Your First Short Link

Welcome! Let's create your first short link in under 2 minutes.

What You'll Need​

  • ✅ A Snipzr account (free) - Sign up here if you haven't already
  • ✅ A URL you want to shorten

Step 1: Log In​

  1. Go to snipzr.com
  2. Click LOG IN in the top right
  3. Sign in with your credentials

  1. Find the "New Link" button

    • On desktop: Top right of your dashboard
    • On mobile: Floating action button (+ icon)

  2. Paste your URL

    • Copy the long URL you want to shorten
    • Paste it into the "Destination URL" field
    • Example: https://www.example.com/very/long/url/path

  3. Choose your settings (optional)

    • Title: Add a description for your own reference
    • Custom Slug: Create a custom ending (e.g., summer-sale)
    • Domain: Select which short domain to use (default: snipzr.com)

  4. Click "Create Link"

You'll see your new short link:

https://snipzr.com/abc123

What You Can Do Now​

  • 📋 Copy: Click the copy icon to copy your short link
  • 📊 View Stats: See clicks and analytics
  • ✏️ Edit: Change the destination or settings
  • 🔗 Share: Use it anywhere - social media, emails, print materials
