Terms of Service
Effective date: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are the agreement between you and Snipzr (snipzr.com, "we") for the use of the Snipzr link management service at snipzr.com, its subdomains, its applications and its API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization, and "you" includes it.
1. Your account
You need an account with a valid email address, created with a password or a supported sign-in provider. Keep your credentials and API tokens confidential; activity under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 16 years old. We may decline, suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.
2. The Service and your content
Snipzr shortens links, serves redirects, and provides related features such as analytics, QR codes, campaigns, custom domains, workspaces and an API, as described on our site. You retain all rights to the destinations, titles and other content you submit. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service: to store your content, serve your redirects, derive campaign parameters, and display your content to the people you share your workspace with. You are responsible for the destinations your links point to and for having the rights to use any domain you connect.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to link to or distribute: phishing or other deception, malware, content that is illegal where you or your audience are, spam, or material that infringes the rights of others. You must not probe, overload or interfere with the Service, resell it without our agreement, or use it to build a directly competing redirect service. We may disable individual links, mark destinations as unsafe, warn visitors, or suspend accounts when we reasonably believe this section is violated or when we must act on a legal or security ground. Where practical we tell you what happened and how to appeal. Report abuse to the address in section 13.
4. Link permanence
Existing short links keep redirecting even if you downgrade, cancel, or hit a plan limit; we do not disable working links for billing reasons and we do not place advertising on redirects. This promise does not cover links removed under section 3, links whose custom domain you stop controlling, or the wind-down case in section 11.
5. Plans, billing, renewals
Paid plans, their prices, allowances and limits are stated on the pricing page, which is part of these Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payment is processed by our payment provider; we do not store card numbers. Prices can change with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal. A promotional or founding price stays in place for as long as the subscription it was granted on remains active. Taxes are shown at checkout. If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved after our reminders, the subscription ends and the account continues on the Free plan; your links keep working (section 4). Refunds and the statutory right of withdrawal are governed by the Refund and Withdrawal Policy, which is part of these Terms.
6. Plan allowances
Allowances (such as new links per period or tracked events) are stated per plan and exist to keep the Service reliable for everyone. When an allowance is used up, the related feature pauses until the next period or an upgrade; existing links are never affected. We may take reasonable technical measures against patterns that abuse allowances or the fair operation of the Service.
7. Workspaces and teams
A workspace's owner controls its plan, members, tokens and billing and is responsible for the workspace's use of the Service. Members act within the role the owner or an admin gives them; adding members can affect billing as described on the pricing page, and paid seats require the owner's approval. Content in a workspace is accessible to its members according to their roles. A workspace, including its links, analytics and remaining paid time, can be transferred to another account through the transfer flow; a completed transfer moves control and does not create a refund claim.
8. API
The API is available on paid plans under these Terms. Tokens act with the rights and limits of their workspace and can be revoked at any time in the app. Respect the published rate limits and quotas; do not attempt to evade them. We version the API as described in the developer documentation; we may change limits or endpoints with reasonable notice where the change is not required for security or abuse reasons.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
The Service, its software, design and brand are ours or our licensors' and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond use of the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.
10. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers (such as hosting, payment, sign-in and bot protection) and links lead to third-party destinations. We are not responsible for third-party sites your links point to or for outages of providers outside our reasonable control.
11. Availability, changes, wind-down
We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided without a guaranteed uptime unless we agree one with you in writing. We may improve or change features. If we ever discontinue the Service or a material part of it, we will give at least 90 days' notice to the email on your account and provide a way to export your links, and will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
12. Account deletion and termination
You can delete your account in the settings at any time; the Refund and Withdrawal Policy and section 4 describe the consequences for payments and links. We may terminate or suspend the agreement for material breach of these Terms, or with 30 days' notice to your email if we have a legitimate reason; section 11 applies if the whole Service is wound down.
13. Contact and notices
Questions and notices about these Terms: support@snipzr.com. Abuse reports: support@snipzr.com. We send notices to your account email address.
14. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 50 USD if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or your statutory rights as a consumer, none of which are affected.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you additionally keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and nothing in this section deprives you of the right to sue or be sued at your place of residence where the law grants it.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we give at least 30 days' notice by email or an in-app notice before they take effect; if you do not agree, you may cancel before the change applies. The date above always shows the current version.
